A very kind tooth fairy came along and dusted some glittery powder on my sore gums in early December.
Some nice June Mummies warned Mommy of the cranky nights ahead and she should arm herself with some teething gel from the pharmacy.
While shopping for my stuff, Mommy would also study teething toys in details whether if the parts were filmy, traps dirt or if the paint would flake off.
She also bought me a variety of teething biscuits that are rock hard or the ones that melt in the mouth.
My first few attempts of a rusk. I would just suck and drool a pool of saliva on it.
"Oh Mom, its a tough cookie to crack!"
DUMMIES GUIDE TO A ROCK RUSK.
First, soften the rusk by drenching it with a lot of saliva. Dont worry about your clothes. Your Mom will not scold you as she was the one who gave the biscuit to you in the first place.
Try both ends of the rusk. They may taste the same, but it trains your motor skills of your tiny hands.
Lick, and look at it with love.
Maple syrup version. Smells yucky but taste good.

Status : EMERGING.
The tooth fairy was specially kind to Gwenneth. I was unsettled and refused my milk on a few occasions but a pea size amount of teething gel would relieve my pain and i would doze off to sleep or numb the pain enough for me to suck on my milk bottle.

Mommy monitored my temperature so that she would be first to know if i develop a fever, but thank goodness i was lucky enough to be free from the discomfort of it.
My 2 lower teeth grew quickly and were like little pearlie white rice that sits horizontally side by side on my gums.

Little tooth fairy continued to dust more magical powder on my upper gum and Ive started on my 2 front teeth!!!

Mommy was unable to take pictures of my upper ones coz i threatened to bite off her finger along with very sharp screaming and crying.

Nowadays, Mommy could hear me grinding my teeth when she holds me close and would offer me a teething biscuit to bite on and practice on my chewing skills. The earlier Im exposed to chewing biscuits and lumpy food, the earlier i can join Daddy and Mommy at the table for a tuna sandwich. Mommy would also be more at ease that I would be less likey to choke on my food.
But what if there isnt anything to chew on??
