Can you believe it??? They forgot to bring me to the doctor.

As you already know, the big day of me turning 4 months was pretty eventful and Daddy and Mommy totally forgot about bringing me to Dr Yip for my 2nd (final) preumococcal vaccination and 2nd of the 3 feeds of rotavirus immunisation.

Tsk. Tsk.

Mommy suddenly remembered it but couldnt reach the clinic as it was a weekend... so she told herself that she will make a call as soon as its Monday.

Then came Monday and she forgot about it.

By the time she finished feeding me my milk milk, it was 12.30pm and the clinic has closed for their half day shift on Tuesdays.

She then continue to forget about it or the clinic didnt pick up the phone.

Finally, she managed to get someone on the line...

Mom: " Hi, Good morning. My daughter is with Dr YY Yip and she has taken her first dosage of preumococcal jab and oral feed for rotavirus at 3 months. Is she due for her 2nd dosage at 4 months???"

Nurse : " Yes. She has to come at 4 months for the next dosage."

Mom : " Oops. She is already 4 and a half months now."
( Mommy feeling really guilty and embarassed )

Nurse : " Hrmmm... still ok lah... when would you like to bring her down then?"

Mom : "NOW."

Daddy played "flip flip" with me while Mommy got changed.

ps : Pardon the blurred picture cause I'M IN ACTION!!!

Ai Yo... Its such a hot day.

Mommy blew the aircon at me.

We managed to squeeze into Dr Yip's tight schedule and I was his last baby of his half day shift on Friday which happened to be Halloween :) 31st May 2008

I took my weight and length at 18 weeks old.

8.11 KG

"Miss Nurse, you need to upsize your weighing machine."

66cm.

about the length of a long plastic ruler more, and I will have to pay bus fare.

It warms Mommy's heart to see me grow :)

Ive grown taller and stronger!!!

Yes, Im pui, but my Daddy and Mommy love me the way I am.

Daddy is even proud of it.

This is my Daddy who works very hard for me...
Lovesss...
I miss you when you are away in Jakarta.

There were 4 babies before me in the line and they all took pretty long.

SIAN.

I behaved and be nice while Mommy envied others babies with plenty of hair during the wait.

BLINK ! BLINK ! 52 !!!

My turn!!!

lying on that fateful padded table top, waiting for my fateful jab.

Ahhh.... I hate syringes in all forms.

Mommy then took me to Plaza Singapura which is her happy shopping ground cause Mommy loves craft.

Mommy could stay in SpotLight for hours choosing fabrics, buttons, scrapbooking materials, fancy papers and even glue!

Does your biological mother ever do this to you?

Mom~~ Stop hiding and pretending that you are not there.
Everyone already saw your hands.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Ji Tui !!!

18 October 2008 and Im 4 months old!

About a week ago, i showed signs of my new capability to turn from my back to my tummy.

PorPor noticed that I was raising my legs high and then rest them to one side. She warned Mommy, time and again NEVER to leave me unattended.

A few days later I started to get frustrated when I couldnt successfully flip on my own and I looked really silly with my wobbly head and thick fat thighs waving in the air trying to reach a new milestone in my life.

so, my kind Mommy assisted me by poking my diapers to give that extra push with her mighty index finger and TADAH!!!

Li Hai bah!!!

Mommy then went round boosting to PaPa, Cikcik Yani, Grandma and Grandpa etc that i can turn!!!

I soon got more and more nimble with the move and started to perfect my skill.

There I was, on my tummy when Mommy merely just turned away to take a piece of tissue.

Daddy was equally excited to share with Mommy the joy of me learning my new trick and encouraged me to do my little stint ever now and then.

Relax Daddy.

Very soon, I can juggle balls , balance spinning plates on my toes and jump through fire hoops.

Oh, i was just joking on the last one.

For the fun of it, Daddy and Mommy celebrated this special day with me.

We went shopping for a new pair of soccer boots for Daddy, did a surprise visit to Ah ma's salon and then went over to Gong Gong and Por Por's house.

My loving Mommy did up a little tent to shield me from the glaring sun.

.... And a huge, golden brown roasted chicken drumstick awaits ME!!!

PorPor specially bought the yummy drumstick for me.

At 4 months the Hokkiens celebrate a baby's new chapter of life by giving a treat of a big drumstick.

The Cantonese do it on the 100th day from birth.

It came a little late for me as Im certified Hokkien on my birth cert, so YiYi Eunice shared her packet of french fries with me to make up for it.

"I will just take one, Yiyi... can?"

But Yiyi got drown with her love for me when I gave her my innocent frowns. She gave me the whole packet.

My YiYi Eunice lovessss me...

Upsized somemore!

The adults were so amused and I stirred up a commotion when I picked up a french fries in my hand.

"awwwww... ... so cute!!!"

Daddy told me that chicken drumsticks are very yummy stuff and I should give it a try :)

It took me some time to be convinced that there are many other things that are as yummy as my milk milk other than my right thumb.

So i took a lick!!!

YUM!

Daddy was eyeing the drumstick for a long while and asked if we could share.

Mommy took a bite too!!!

Mommy then excitedly replayed the video clip for viewing that Yiyi caught on the video camera of me with the drumstick.

She then turned around and asked... "The drumstick leh?? i still want! So juicy!"

"Gwen finished it up already." Daddy replied with his oily lips.
