Finally, Ive collected my passport.
There were many verbal votes whenever the topic of my blog was brought up to my Daddy or Mommy.
They were surprised with the kind compliments from friends that are unlikely to enjoy a baby's blog. Like Daddy's soccer mates and even Daddy's men from his army unit. They were talking about my blog in the jungle!
"Look Dad. Im famous."
Daddy and Mommy considered the votes and picked their favourite one from the 5 choices.
When Mommy first saw the passport, she was very upset that the digital printing of the photo was so badly done that my face in the picture was so BLACK.
She complained on the quality of the print and showed the lady who attended to us, the original picture.
The lady then told us that the quality varies, depending on the staff who scans it.
"HUH!" so sub-standard!
See again! the picture was so cuuuuteeee!!!
The lady offered to do a reprint and void the one in hand. This would mean that i would have a different passport number. It didnt really matters cause the passport number was a combination of jumble up numbers that was difficult to remember anyway.
Mommy waited for a whole of 45mins for the reprint.
Though she was still upset that my face has patches of black print, but it was a lot better than the original one already.
Mommy bought matching passport holders for us.
Mine is the pink one of 3 Little Pigs and Mommy's is Snow white and the 7 drawfs.
Mommy could only sigh at their inferior technology that the photo was not coloured.
Mommy printed out 6 passport sized copies and laminated them with my name and age then, written on the back.
They are now nestled in my Daddy's, Mommy's, Ah gong's , Ah mah's, Gong Gong's and Por Por's wallets and purses.
My Ah gong would take it out and hao lian to his friends and colleagues and ask if I resembles him!!
