Swimming with Jayden

My mom made a nice friend from the June mummies forum and invited her and her lil' darling to my house for a dip at the pool!

Mommy told me that they were just staying a stone throw away from our house.

Mom~ you must be kidding... "a stone throw" is a distance of your 9-iron. Thats just 200m.

They stayed about 2 bus stops away.

Introducing my new found friend Jayden.

He is merely 3 days older than me!

Its Jayden's first try at the pool.

Ive got to assure him that everything is gonna be okay.

Gwen Gwen : " Not scared, not scared k? I'll show you the steps."

Jayden looked doubtful.

Gwen Gwen : " I know its nerve wrecking as this is your very first time... but chewing your fingers wouldnt help... you gotta trust me bro..."

Jayden : " You passed your life guard test already meh?"

Gwen Gwen : " Erhmm... i havent even book the bronze exam yet. But look. Im fat. I can float."

Jayden : " HUH! like that also can???!!!"

Jayden chewed his fingers even harder.




Gwen Gwen : " Ai yah! Mai then suah!"

Jayden : " Okay lah okay lah... i believe you... please swim near me and save me when i scream k?"

Gwen Gwen : " (took in a quick deep breath) Did you just kissed me?!?"




Jayden : " Hee...i would do anything to save my dear life..."

Gwen Gwen : " blushes* How about one more on the other side?"


Jayden obliged.

*Because im just sooo hot.

Gwen Gwen : "Okay, we are friends forever. I will take care of you. Promised."

Jayden : "Please hang on to my dear life."

The 2 mommies then changed us into our lelong thermal suits from Carrefour and applied body oil with love on our bodies to keep us warm.

Gwen Gwen : " Good job Jayden!!! You are doing fine!!!"

Jayden : " Im scared...cant you tell from my eyes? "

Gwen Gwen ( the yaya-papaya) : " Look Jayden, this is how you do it... waddle your feet like a duck. left... right... left... right..."

Gwen Gwen : " Stretch your legs out and relaxxx~~~ trust your $6 float."

Gwen Gwen : " Next, close your eyes and imagine you are in Maldives. The water is clear as crystal and your orange juice and Barney book is waiting by the sunbed..."

Gwen Gwen : " You can cross your legs like this... Excuse me, i cant cross fully and you can tell why."

Gwen Gwen : " Waddle..."

Gwen Gwen : " When all else fails, just pout your lips and your kan cheong mummy will come to your rescue."

Gwen Gwen : " See? Mommy is always there when i needed her..."

Jayden's mommy , YiYi Carol is there to protect Jayden too!

Mommy drifts me across the pool.

We made the mommies very busy!

Ok! Enough for the day... i wanna go home already.

I slept so soundly that i didnt even realised that Jayden was crying when he woke up from his nap!
