(well, in my era, they no longer come in a box. Its either Plasma or LCD)
I was deprived of it for the first 3 months of my life.
Mommy forbidded me to watch TV and even made extra effort to turn my bouncer away from the TV.
... and so i only have a view of my Mommy and Daddy, sucking on Ju Feng grapes on the couch and watching the shares dip on TV.
Mommy said that TV is a picture of flickering images that is damaging to my eyes. She felt that it was more strenous than stimulating and even perhaps destructive to my already-squinting eyes.
and Daddy totally agree with her.
NO TV. Period.
Mommy told me that she would subcribe to BABY TV on cable when i turn 3 months but later revised it to 4 months.
and now, Im 4 months old!!!
As promised, Mommy subcribed to BABY TV last week but cancelled it 5 days later.
She said that its unbelievably boring and she would fall asleep within 10mins watching it if she was a baby.
Yawnzzz
and so, Mommy bought BRAINY BABY SERIES, BABY EINSTEINS , DISNEY'S LITTLE EINSTEINS and SESAME STREET VCDs for me.
The VCDs are absolutely amazing!!!
It teaches me a variety of fun things in life in bright vivid colours!
TV Time!!!
Excuse me, its a purple chair..not a potty o-k!!!
Mommy read in books that babies exhibit some degree of separation anxiety around 6 to 8 months of age, Many children go through a second phase of separation anxiety around 18 months of age and that eases as communication skills improve.
and so, the VCDs taught me to play games like "peek-a-boo" which demonstrates that Mommy or Daddy still exist, even though I cannot see what is hiding behind the hanky.
Mommy felt that this sort of learning is good enough for me and ABCs can wait.
However, Mommy limits this to 15 minutes a day and will only increase it bit by bit as I grow older...
Mommy :" Gwen... Enough already... 15 minutes is up... time for nap nap."
"HUH!!! So fast!!!???"
